Blais is assigned to the city's Planning and Permitting Department. [ P R O M O T I O N S ] Spurwink, a nonprofit in Portland that provides a broad range of mental health, education, and residential services for children, adolescents, adults and families, promoted Sue Murphy to vice presi- dent of adult intellectual and devel- opmental disabilities services and Misty Marston to vice president of children's residential and education services. Murphy was senior pro- gram director while Marston was program director for the Greater Portland Program. [ A P P O I N T M E N T S ] Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland announced that Deqa Dhalac, Sister Judith Carey, Jen Palminteri and Victoria Morales joined its board of trustees. Dhalac is the family engagement and cultural respon- siveness specialist for Maine Department of Education and is co-founder of Cross- Cultural Community Services; Morales is executive director of Quality Housing Coalition; Palminteri is vice president of the Mercy medical staff, medical direc- tor of critical care services at Mercy Hospi- tal and the leader of the hospital's critical care committee; and Carey is a member of the Sisters of Mercy and is a facilita- tor and organizational consultant. Target Maine's emerging workforce Work for ME is a workforce development tool to help Maine's employers target Maine's emerging workforce.
