The Maine Real Estate & Development Association in Portland announced that Benjamin Brennan, was named as co-chair of its DevelopME Committee. Brennan is a sales executive for KONE Elevators. Maine Community Bank President and CEO Jeanne Hulit was selected to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's board of directors. Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Portland said that Christopher Lynch was selected to join the Board of Directors for Lee Auto Malls. Lynch is president and founder of the agency. The LA Metro Chamber of Commerce added Steven Littleson and Christopher Rugullies to its board of directors for one initial, two-year term. Littleson is president at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston while Rugullies is senior vice president, commercial banking officer at Camden National Bank. In addition, the chamber said Jessica Donovan of Lucro Management will serve as board chair in 2021. KinoTek Inc., a digital health company in Portland, appointed Krystal Williams and Burak Sezen to its inaugural board of directors. Williams currently serves as a director and equity officer for the Maine ACLU and as a director for the Lerner Foundation in Portland while Sezen is a partner and co-founder at 6ixth Event/ Cataclysmic Capital, an investment firm in Portland. [ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] e Maine district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration presented its annual SBA lender awards. Winners included Bangor Savings Bank, "Leading SBA 7(a)" lender based on total number of loans; Gorham Savings Bank, "Leading SBA 504 3rd Party" lender based on total number of loans; Infinity FCU, "Leading SBA Credit Union" lender; Granite State Development Corp., "Maine's Leading Certified Development Company" in both numbers and total dollars; and Coastal Enterprises Inc., "Maine's Leading SBA Microlender." In addition, Franklin Savings Bank received the "SBA District Director Award," in recognition of the efforts taken by the bank to greatly increase the use of administration programs in the bank's lending port- folio and James Lacasse, vice president and community banking relationship manager at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, was named the "2020 STAR Award" winner for supporting the administration's programs and services. Marina Holdings LLC, holding company for Yarmouth Boat Yard, Moose Landing Marina and Freedom Boat Club of Maine, said it was listed No. 9 on the "Top- 100 dealers in North America" list by Boating Industry, a trade publication for marine businesses. Camden National Bank announced its "2020 Leaders & Luminaries Awardees" including Doris Dennee, board treasurer, The Iris Network; Jackie Studer, board pres- ident, Classical Uprising; Ray Gerbi, board treasurer, Pejepscot History Center; and Robert Holmberg, president and founder, Community Compass. In addition, Evelyn Kieltyka, board chair of Medical Care Development Inc., was named the "2020 Spotlight Award" winner. e bank also said it was one of seven U.S. banks to be named a "Customer Experience Leader for 2020" in retail and small business banking by Greenwich Associates, an independent research firm. Greater Portland Landmarks announced its first "Legacy Business Awards" win- ners including Bangor Savings Bank, HM Payson, J.B. Brown & Sons and Springer's Jewelers. e organization also pre- sented its "Preservation Award" to the Cummings Family in recognition of their efforts in restoring the Abyssinian Meeting House in Portland. Portland Monthly said its Winterguide 2020 and September 2020 covers were recognized for design excellence at the 2020 American Graphic Design Awards sponsored by Graphic Design USA. Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recognized employees during its Employee Appreciation Week. Recipients included: Tiffany Ash, regional retail operations manager, and Melissa Case, assistant vice president branch rela- tionship manager in Brandon, Vt., "Communications Award;" Jeff Charland, vice president regional relationship manager, and Beverly Veilleux, senior wealth administrator, "Professionalism Award;" Nichole Lee, branch relationship manager in South China, and Jarmila Silva, branch relationship manager in Concord, N.H., "Initiative Award;" Emily Gerrard, staff account, and Cody Mundy, customer service representative in Concord, N.H., "Quality Award;" Tiffany Law, vice president community banking relationship manager in Nashua, N.H., and Lindsay Moore, commercial lending assistant, "Positivity Award;" and Shania Adams, personal banker, and Katherine Paine, assistant branch manager in New London, N.H., "Teamwork Award." The TD Beach to Beacon 10K said it was voted the No. 1 race in America among road races 10 miles or less in BibRave's Top-100 U.S. Race List. e event also received a "Green Lion Award," which recognizes running events that have integrated sustainable environmental practices into its race operations.
