The top executive of Hartford health insurer Aetna has been named the new CEO of parent company CVS Health Corp. Karen S. Lynch -- currently executive vice president of CVS Health and president of Aetna -- will become the company's next president and CEO, effective Feb. 1, 2021, replacing the retiring Larry J. Merlo. Health insurer Cigna Corp. made multiple local real estate moves in 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, that shifted more employees to its Bloomfield corporate headquarters. Cigna vacated 125,000 square feet at Windsor's 3 Waterside Crossing office building, and moved about 300 IT employees to its historic Wilde Building in Bloomfield. Cigna also leased 65,000 square feet in MetLife's Bloomfield office building, at 1300 Hall Blvd.
