The Milford native joined Elevate in 2017 from the mental health team at MCI Framingham, where she provided crisis management and short- and long-term treatment for inmates. Hollister earned her bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, and her master's degree in social work from Simmons University in Boston. Anna Maria College in Paxton has seven new faculty and staff. The faculty mem- bers are: DR. JINA CHANG as assistant professor of social work, MARK GRIFFON as visiting assistant professor of health services, ACHU JOHNSON ALEXANDER as assistant professor of psychology, KAR- RIANN MARDEN as assistant professor of health services, and LISA WILLIAMS as professor of practice in psychology. New to the staff are: LEONITA BYTYQI as help- desk technician, and JUDY PINGITORE as office manager of health and counseling. Chang has an interest in health and access to health care among children and immi- grants with several peer reviewed publi- cations on the topic. Prior to joining Anna Maria, Chang served as assistant professor at Indiana State University. Chang received her doctorate in social work at Boston University, master's degree in social work from Columbia University and bachelor's degree in biology from George Washington University. Griffon is a former board mem- ber, appointed by President Barack Obama in 2010, of the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, and served as a member of the Federal Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health. Griffon received his master's degree in radiolog- ic sciences from UMass Lowell and his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Rens- selaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. Alexander has experience teaching in the Worcester consortium of schools including Clark University, Quinsigamond Commu- nity College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She received her doctorate and master's degrees in psychology from Clark, her master's degree in applied psychology from University of Delhi in India and her bachelor's degree at Women's Christian College in India. Marden previously served as assistant professor of anthropology and forensic science and director of the forensic science program and Eastern New Mexico University. She received her doc- torate and master's degrees in anthropolo- gy from Tulane University in New Orleans, master's degree in applied sociology from the University of Maryland, and bachelor's degree in sociology, anthropology and psychology from St. Lawrence University in New York. Williams joins Anna Maria with an extensive administrative background in M OV E R S & S H A K E R S elementary education and her expertise is in child and adolescent development. She received her master's degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and her bachelor's degree in psychology from Ashford University in California. Bytyqi holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from University for Business and Technology in Kosovo. Pingitore previously supported the adminis- trative and billing functions in the transpor- tation industry and has spent most of her professional career in insurance, working in claims and customer service. Worcester nonprofit Open Sky Community Services announced the election of two new members to its board of directors. CHARISSE MURPHY earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and criminal Justice from the University of New Haven. She is the director of Leadership Giving at Worcester State University and the founder of EmPOWER ME! PAUL SCHASEL received his bachelor's degree in finance from St. Bonaventure University in New York and an MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He is the director of fiscal affairs for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester. JULIA ROSE KILGORE will join Worcester Education Collaborative as the deputy director. She is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester with studies concentrated in sociology, and social policy. She holds a masters from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service. Cornerstone Bank of Southbridge will promote HEATHER DUMAIS to vice president commercial lender. She is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor's degree in economics. Dumais specializes in working with small businesses and guiding people through the U.S. Small Business Administration loan process. Dr. SADÉ CALLWOOD of Douglas has been named to the board of Doc Wayne Youth Services, a Boston nonprofit combining sport and therapy to heal and strengthen at-risk youth. Callwood is a post-doctoral fellow and psychotherapist at Commonwealth Psychology in Boston. HOLLISTER Food solutions IC Credit Union donated $4,000 to Devens-based Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, which helped more than 800 families this past year, according to Executive Director Patricia Stern. With COVID-19 concerns, food has been brought out to recipients' vehicles by volunteers. For winter, the pantry is working to raise funds for a drive-thru window.
