Inc. designs and builds custom automation equipment. Its team selects the most appropriate platform and technologies for the most cost-effective solution. Platforms range from continuous motion, cam-driven synchronous chassis, walking-beam automation, power and free conveyors, to custom ground-up designs. Main customers are Fortune-500 companies who are primarily involved with disposable medical devices. The company also serves customers in automotive; consumer disposable products; wiring devices; electrical and electronic components; and the food industry. We seek qualified canidates for the following professions; tool maker; controls systems engineers; machine/ electrical assemblers; and mechanical engineers. AGR proudly partners with Bristol Technical Education Center and welcomes interns. AGR has hired three interns from Bristol Tech; one, a tool maker, is working toward his Journeyperson license as a tool maker and two are electrical-assembly technicians working towards Journeyperson licenses as electricians. All are enrolled in the Connecticut Apprenticeship Program. AGR also partners with several colleges and hires interns for IT, mechanical engineering and controls systems engineering. The company offers a 401k profit-sharing plan with a 25% match, no limit and up to 3% of gross pay profit share based on company profitability. It also offers a medical plan of which the company pays 70%, a dental plan where the company pays 50%, a life and AD&D insurance plan with the company paying 100%, and tuition reimbursement where the company pays 80%. Bonuses distributed based on year-end company profitability and merit. Student-loan repayment assistance of up to $15,000 and parental leave following the birth or adoption of a child with the company paying 100% of your salary for four weeks.
