He started his career with Saint-Gobain as an entry-level mixing re-screener. Before long he moved on to a Molder position running one of the plants most critical machines. After spending time as an Autonomous Team Leader he was promoted to Supervisor. Sean Garneau Position: Manufacturing Engineer I Age: 24 School (HS and/or College): Northeastern University Years at Company: 4 years In Heather's day-to-day, she supports the operators in the Superabrasives business. Much of her role is problem-solving and working through product applications and troubleshooting problems that arise. Heather began her career with Saint-Gobain Adfors in Albion, NY, and recently relocated to the Abrasives business in Worcester. Heather Davis Position: Controls Engineer Age: 35 School (HS and/or College): ECPI University, Manassas, VA Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, Concentration in Mechatronics Years at Company: 1.5 years David is a Controls Engineer for the Saint-Gobain Bonded Abrasives Plant 7. His primary focus is programming for an automated CNC machine. David provides daily support for PLC controls among other control systems. David's favorite part about working for Saint-Gobain is his involvement in bringing the plant towards a more automated production environment. "I like solving complex problems to help progress the company." One of the most unique opportunities for David's job is the exposure to a variety of equipment and controls. David Naines "I'm extremely grateful for the company and opportunities I've been given in such a short amount of time, that hard work clearly pays off."
