AT A GLANCE "I started at MassMEP in 2006 as Manager of Technical Skills Training. I have moved on after 10 years to Information Technology Manager and also COVID Coordinator. MassMEP has helped me growth professionally and personally while helping the organization grow." Matthew Healy is the Information Technology Manager for the MassMEP and has worked at the MassMEP for 14 years. He is involved in the day-to-day operations of the company on the technology side. Matt is also heavily involved in the marketing team at MassMEP, creating videos and web content. He also serves as one of MassMEP's COVID Coordinators. Matt and a small team helped facilitate reopening of the MassMEP office and prepared the staff to train virtually to their clients in short time. During his first 10 years at the MassMEP, Matt was the Manager of Technical Skills Training for MassMEP. He provided training for a number of programs focused on workforce development. Since the inception of the Workforce Development program, Matt has successfully trained over 2,500 dislocated and veteran manufacturing shop floor employees through the nationally acclaimed Applied Manufacturing Technology Certification Pathway program. Matt has also been an authorized OSHA General Industry Outreach trainer for the past nine years. Prior to working for the MassMEP, he worked in the computer industry for five years, providing website design, hardware support, software support and server integration.
