Maine Farm Emergency Grants, in
partnership with Maine Farmland
Trust.
• Helped farmers and food
purchasers understand current
food supplies and demands to
reduce food waste.
• Created trainings and materials to
help farmers navigate changes in
labor, food safety, business
planning, and COVID-relief
programs.
• Advocated at the state and federal
level for programs to support
Maine's farms through the
pandemic.
Local organic farms
support healthy
communities.
