FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES In response to the ongoing pandemic and event size restrictions, we continue to develop our calendar of virtual events for the upcoming year. e Center will hold a Virtual Love Gala on Friday, February 5. We are underway planning for this altered rendition of our annual sell-out event. More details to come! We have also redesigned our Corporate Partner Program to still offer great vis- ibility and volunteer opportunities for your employees! Depending on the level of giving, year-round partnership includes recognition at our virtual events, webi- nars, and conferences, as well as tailored communications. Beloved business sup- porters can also donate a percentage of sales or work with the Center to create their own customized fundraiser! Lot of opportunities available! We welcome individuals and groups of employees to assist at our events. f Office volunteers assist with a variety of projects on a one-time or ongoing basis. f Employee volunteer groups can hold their own fundraiser to benefit the Center or complete special projects in collaboration with the Center. SERVICE LOCATIONS Peer support groups are typically available weekly in Portland and Sanford, and online during Covid-19 with Center training, education and crisis response available to schools, workplaces and other organiza- tions throughout Southern Maine Anne Heros, Executive Director Mary Larkin, Board President: President, Diversified Commu- nications, USA 2021 GOALS Our vision is that all children and families in southern Maine will have access to grief support at no cost for as long as necessary. We want every person in southern Maine to know about the Center's services so that no child has to grieve alone. Goal 1: Provide and maintain high- quality, direct-service grief-support pro- grams for children and their families. Goal 2: Support schools, workplaces and agencies through crisis response services and by providing grief-related education and training.
