Students thrive in a learning and living environment that is supported by an experiential curriculum and co-curricular activities that emboldens the leadership potential of all our students. Starting in their first year, students are immersed in the world of business and education through our signature Professional Development Seminar. This required four-year program led by business experts prepares students to market themselves to prospective employers through resume creation, network building, and interview skills. Students also participate in a range of competitive internships and consulting projects with local and national companies, gaining unique industry knowledge. Our students are given unparalleled industry access, like Bloomberg terminals, providing them a distinct advantage in the workforce. Nichols is one of only 35 educational institutions in the world to be an official Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner. Beyond the classroom, the Emerging Leaders Program and the Institute for Women's Leadership provide opportunities for students to advance their leadership training through special projects, speakers, and events. Nichols brings its leadership training to the Central Massachusetts business community, as well. The Graduate and Professional Studies division works with area companies to customize certificate and degree programs on-site. These programs give employees a great leadership education while providing employers with well-trained staff. Companies including Incom, Fidelity Bank, Wolf & Co. PC, and AAFCPAs have taken advantage of this programming. All these advantages mean opportunities for our students. A total of 96% of our 2019 graduates are either employed or in a graduate program and our undergraduate business school ranks 12th nationally in salary potential, according to PayScale.com. As we strive to realize our vision as a college of choice for business and leadership education, Nichols will continue to innovate and serve as a vital resource to Worcester, producing career-ready graduates and business leaders who contribute to the economic development of the region. n Changing the Way Business is Done How Nichols College creates tomorrow's leaders Nichols campus
