Churchwell is taking over as Yale New Haven Hospital's new president this fall, to replace President Rich- ard D'Aquila, who is retiring. Churchwell, who has been the hospital's chief oper- ating officer and executive vice president, takes over as of Oct. 5. Churchwell is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He came to YNHH in 2015, having previously served at Vander- bilt University as executive director and chief medical officer of the Van- derbilt Heart and Vascular Institute. Equal Housing Lender Laticrete has named Patrick Millot as its next chief execu- tive officer, succeeding David A. Rothberg, who will continue as chairman of the company's board. The Bethany-based company manufactures construction-related materials, such as adhesives, mortar, coatings, sealants and grout. Millot was scheduled to start in his new role on Aug. 10. Previ- ously, he worked for the Fortune global 500 company, Saint-Gobain, which is based in France. Two join city investment management firm Edgehill Endowment Partners, an investment manager for en- dowments and foundations, an- nounced two re- cent additions to its New Haven team. Brian Morgan has joined the firm in a new position as director of risk and ana- lytics on the in- vestment team. Previously, Morgan spent eight years at Choate Rosemary Hall, serving as investment director and operations manager, and at Skandia Global Funds, serving as mutual fund operations administrator. Craig Dessen is the firm's new managing director on its investment team. He previously served as partner and managing director at Post Rock Advisors and joined its succes- sor firm, Roundtable Investment Partners, now Truvvo Partners. New president selected to lead bar association Attorney Alan H. Bowie Jr. has begun his tenure as pres- ident of the George W. Craw- ford Black Bar Association. Bowie, an associate at the firm Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey's New Haven of- fice, is one of the youngest-ever presidents of the association. Bowie, who was born and raised in New Haven, practices primarily in the area of labor and employment law. Patriot Bank names new president and CEO Robert G. Russell Jr. has been picked to serve as presi- dent and CEO of Patriot Bank. Headquartered in Stamford, Patriot Bank has nine branches, including eight in Connecticut, in Darien, Fair- field, Greenwich, Milford, Norwalk, Orange, Stamford and Westport. It also has express banking locations in Bridgeport, New Haven and Trumbull.
