Celebrating 30 Years in Business Congratulations to all the 40 Under Forty Winners This is how you launch and grow a business right: Lordan, who started Concierge Physical Therapy less than five years ago without a physical space of its own, tripled gross revenue from his first year to his third, and added five full-time doctors to his staff of what's now more than 20 people. More than 2,000 people have received services there since 2017, and already the company has plans for a second location next year. Lordan, who earned his doctor of physical therapy in 2012 from Northeastern University, has a charitable side that's just as impressive. Concierge Physical Therapy donates 10% of gross revenues to local nonprofits, and Lordan himself is a steering committee member and sponsor of UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care's major fundraiser, the Winter Ball. He's a volunteer and sponsor of both Girls on the Run Worcester County, a girls advocacy group; and of March of Dimes, which benefits moms and babies. Lordan and Concierge Physical Therapy are sponsors of the CASA Project of Worcester County, a group advocating for abused and neglected children; the Rainbow Child Development Center, a Worcester nonprofit providing educational and therapeutic services; and the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester. - G.W. If you could spend only 24 hours only in one city, which one would you pick? Paris. I've always wanted to have a coffee and a chocolate croissant with my wife Brooke and my daughter Noelle overlooking the Eiffel Tower! What is your new favorite activity since the pandemic began? Telehealth. It's been wonderful to be able to share the benefits of physical therapy with those who are homebound due to COVID-19, especially with Noelle often providing a cameo! Dr. Sean T. Lordan, 32 President Concierge Physical Therapy, in Sutton Residence: South Grafton Birthplace: Shrewsbury College: Northeastern University Creedon-Linton first started in the family catering business in high school, but today it can seem she practically does it all for Creedon & Co. She started her run up the ladder as an event and party planner, working on each miniscule detail with brides and grooms for their big day. Now Creedon & Co.'s vice president, Creedon-Linton is in her 20th year with the company and fills roles that didn't even exist when she joined. Over those two decades, Creedon-Linton has run the company's test division, joined the board of directors of the Massachusetts arm of the American Rental Association, and then became its president. She's quadrupling participation at events held by the association, and this year she stepped into the role as a regional director for the group's national office. Those do- it-all abilities extend even to the company's sibling operations: two summer collegiate baseball teams, the Worcester Bravehearts and the Nashua Silver Knights in New Hampshire, for which she runs concessions stands during games – at least during a normal season. Creedon-Linton also volunteers for the donor registry Be the Match and is an active member of the group Central Massachusetts Young Professionals. - G.W. Who would play you in the movie about your life? Melissa McCarthy What is the first thing you'll do after the coronavirus pandemic? Take a vacation What are you proudest of? Finishing my master's degree. I did it for myself, and it ended up being during a difficult time in my life. Whose career do you want to emulate? Ellen DeGeneres. I want to be that positive, kind and helpful with a great sense of humor! Julie Creedon-Linton, 38 Vice president, Creedon and Co., Inc./ I.T.
