O'CONNELL, president and CEO of Avidia Bank in Hudson, MARTIN F. CONNORS, president and CEO of Rollstone Bank and Trust in Fitchburg, KATHLEEN C. MARCUM, president and CEO of Millbury National Bank, and MICHAEL G. MCAULIFFE, president and CEO of Middlesex Savings Bank in Natick. O'Connell was elected as treasurer, McAuliffe was reappointed as a member of the board of directors, and Connors and Marcum were newly elected. Dr. MAI-LAN A. ROGOFF has been awarded the 2020 Manning Prize for Excellence in Teaching and dedication to students at UMass Medical School in Worcester. Rogoff is an adult and child psychiatrist with a subspecialty in developmental disabilities and is a UMass Medical School psychiatry professor. She began at UMass in 1983 after being a faculty member at both Harvard and Dartmouth Medical Schools. Throughout Rogoff's years at UMass, she served as director of the student counseling service, and associate training director for the department of psychiatry. For close to 20 years, she served as associate dean for student affairs. Rogoff has served as an examiner on the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as chair of the United States Licensing Examination Step I Behavioural Science Test Writing Committee. Rogoff completed an internship in internal medicine at New England Deaconess Hospital, a residency in adult psychiatry at Dartmouth Affiliated Hospitals in Hanover, N.H., a child psychiatry residency with a Developmental Disabilities fellowship, and a Dupont Warren research fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. SEAN STEVENSON has been named the medical director of pain management at Harrington Physician Services' Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice. Stevenson received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and bachelor's degree in exercise science from UMass Amherst and completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y. Dr. JOSEPH CONDON has also joined the practice to provide interventional pain procedures. Condon has been practicing for 25 years, completed his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla and his residency at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Cornell Medical Center. Dr. AYESHA SHEIKH and Dr. ARCHANA AGARWAL have been named new members of Saint Vincent Medical Group's medical team, and will be working at Saint Vincent Hospital's Cancer and Wellness Center. Sheikh specializes in geriatrics, internal medicine hospice and palliative medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. She has participated in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology. Sheikh finished her fellowship in geriatrics, hematology, and oncology at Boston University School of Medicine. Her internal medical residency took place at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Rhode Island. She attended medical school in Pakistan at Allama Iqbal Medical College and University of Punjab. Agarwal is a board-certified internist and fellowship trained physician in hematology and oncology. She has worked several years as a hospitalist and primary care physician at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, where she was the director of the hospital program, and residency program director. Agarwal has published more than 20 articles within well recognized, peer-reviewed journals and has presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She graduated from Calcutta National Medical College in India with honors, and completed her internal medicine residency from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Jacobi Medical Center in New York. CHRIS COLLINS has been elected by the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester to its board of trustees. Collins works as an attorney at Mirick O'Connell in Worcester and is a member of the firm's life, health, disability and the employee retirement income security act group. He will serve on the committees for athletic and student affairs. He focuses on life and health insurance matters with a concentration on disability income insurance. Before joining the firm, Collins worked for 30 years with Unum group in Worcester. He has served on various boards for nonprofit entities including: the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Bridge of Central Massachusetts, Worcester Regional Research Bureau, and the Worcester Club. Collins has worked as a long-term board member at the Worcester Art Museum, and served as the museum's president for four years. He is a past chair of the board at the Nativity School in Worcester and is a council member of the American Antiquarian Society. Collins received his bachelor of arts in history at Holy Cross, and a law degree from Vermont Law School. ROGOFF Best among banks Webster First Federal Credit Union was chosen as one of Forbes' Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions for 2020. The award was presented by Forbes and Statista Inc, a statistics portal. The list of top banks and credit unions is based on independent surveys of about 25,000 U.S. consumers, according to Forbes. Pictured is the bank's operations center in Worcester. Safe space Leominster office-furniture manufacturer AIS joined up with Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, as a MassBio Edge Preferred Partner. MassBio Edge offers discounts among its more than 1,300 members in its marketplace; AIS offers members a dedicated project manager.
