X V J U LY 1 3 , 2 0 2 0 10 JEWETT TAKES ON A RANGE OF PROJECTS IN SOUTHERN MAINE Jewett Construction, which is based in Raymond, N.H., and has a Scarborough office, has been busy in southern Maine. e contractor tells Mainebiz it has recently completed a range of projects, from a restaurant fit-out to a car dealership to a car wash: Interior fit-up of the restaurant Ricetta's, at 512 Main St. in Saco. e 7,245-square-foot restaurant, the former Kerryman's Irish Pub, was thoroughly gutted to make way for a new architectural style. Exterior treatments included new cedar board and batten siding, a wooden trellis entry feature and accent lighting along pedestrian walkways. e new kitchen design creates space for two of Ricetta's signature brick oven fixtures along with other modern equipment throughout. Renovation and an addition at the ScrubaDub car wash site, at 1185 Forest Ave. in Portland. Jewett did major site improvements, exterior renovations and the construction of a new retail addition to better serve ScrubaDub's customers. e project focused on modernizing the existing facility with new metallic aluminum paneling, anodized storefront sys- tems, and a curved roof frame sitting above the new retail spaces. A new showroom and updated look highlighted work on the Berlin City Lexus dealership, at 191 Riverside St. in Portland. Capozza Tile & Floor Covering Center handled the floor- ing. e renovation included addi- tional space for vehicle deliveries. ROUNDUP OF OTHER PROJECTS IN THE WORKS PC Construction has begun work on the Martin's Point Health Care Brunswick Clinic project in Brunswick. e $18.5 million project, designed by architect SMRT, consists of a new 54,400- square-foot, two-story clinic located at Brunswick Landing. e facility will consolidate Brunswick's two existing Martin's Point clinics and will include spaces for primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health care, physical therapy, procedures, laboratory and radiology. e project will be completed by August 2021. DeStefano & Associates Inc. completed con- struction of a fit-up of an Orangetheory Fitness franchise, a 3,500-square-foot site in Londonderry, N.H. It's the fourth Orangetheory Fitness location DeStefano has done, with the others in Portland and, in New Hampshire, Dover and Portsmouth. DeStefano & Associates offers planning, design and construction services for new, expansion and renovation projects in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Zachau Construction of Freeport is com- ing down the home stretch with a new site for Hospice of Southern Maine, at 390 U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough. Project cost was $5.8 million.
