Plan ahead with Mainebiz Watch for dates for other Mainebiz events this fall, including the Women to Watch reception, our CEO Forum on 60 Ideas in 60 Minutes (we will produce two: one in Portland and one in Bangor), The Next List Reception, and more. If your organization would like to be involved with any of these events through sponsorship, please contact Ad Director, Andrea Tetzlaff at atetzlaff@mainebiz.biz It's going to be a busy summer, and Mainebiz has several options for you to engage with us. Send us your press releases, company announcements, list your events or webcasts on our online calendar, sign up for free enews, register for our events, and subscribe to get all the information and news you need to be successful at www.mainebiz.biz In August, our Small Business Forum will be virtual with four webcasts over a two day period (August 18/19) on topics that small and start-up businesses need to know on financing, finding commercial space, advice from five local entrepreneurs, plus an interview with Senator Angus King. In September, the Mainebiz Giving Guide will highlight Maine nonprofits who need our help now more than ever. For-profit businesses can sponsor a nonprofit into Giving Guide to help raise their profile and showcase their mission. The deadline to nominate a Woman to Watch is June 30. Do you know a trailblazing, successful women business leader? Tell us about her. We will choose several Women to Watch and profile them in our August 10 issue. In July, Mainebiz is launching a podcast series called The Day That Changed Everything. We will be talking with business leaders whose company, industry, personal lives were upended in one day, and how they navigated their way back to success. Watch for the launch on July 13th and subscribe. The annual Mainebiz Fact Book: Doing Business in Maine will be published at the end of July. This year's issue has a 200th Maine anniversary theme. Make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it. podcasts The Day that Changed Everything 2 0 1 9 C OV E R 2 0 1 9 C OV E R Plan ahead with Mainebiz Watch for dates for other Mainebiz events this fall, including the Women to Watch reception, our CEO Forum on 60 Ideas in 60 Minutes (we will produce two: one in Portland and one in Bangor), The Next List Reception, and more.
