Who has been your most
important mentor and why?
My mother has been my greatest example. She led by example, she was
valedictorian in high school, a chemist after the war, received her masters
in education 25 years after college and prepared trust and estate tax
returns for Robinson + Cole. She taught me to work hard, to value quality
education, to believe in myself. She told all three of her children that they
could be anything they wanted to be.
