LEADERSHIP IN A TIME OF CRISIS
Our world changed direction in a heartbeat.
Some of us have experienced great loss, both personal and
financial. All of us have been required to change our daily
routines, and to re-examine our priorities in life.
No one knows how or when this crisis will end. However,
we do know that things will not quickly, or perhaps ever, re-
turn to "normal." Everything will be different going forward,
because we have all changed.
As a society, we have a legal system that was established to
provide us with a sense of order and justice. We can all find
comfort in knowing that the current chaos has limitations;
disease cannot infect or destroy the rules we live by.
In the coming months, people and organizations will begin
to re-engage, and will have the same "pre-Coronavirus" legal
needs we've helped them to address over the past 40 years.
We anticipate that there will also be new, untested and
complex legal challenges and opportunities in the aftermath
of this crisis, which will require innovative thinking and the
courage to act with confidence.
As a firm, we welcome the opportunity to assist you with
sound guidance covering a legal landscape that is both
known and unknown.
Amidst all of this change, you have our pledge that McElroy
Deutsch will remain true to its founding principle: to keep
our professionalism and collegiality at the highest levels, and
to keep our clients' best interest the priority.
Given what we are all going through now, and the tough
road that lies ahead, that mission means more to us now than
ever before.
Stay safe and be well.
Very truly yours,
McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP
