It was not immediately clear how the temporary work stoppage would impact the project's strict timeline, which aims to have the stadium ready for the Pawtucket Red Sox to move into the city by opening day in April 2021. Garelick Farms owner finalizes $433M sale e owner of longtime Franklin dairy company Garelick Farms has agreed to sell most of its business operations to a national milk cooperative. Garelick Farms owner Dean Foods Co. announced the Dairy Farms of America was the winning bidder in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy auction. e $433-million deal, which Dean Foods initially agreed to in February, includes nearly all of the Dallas-based company's facilities. Another entity, Prairie Farms Dairy, has been chosen to buy other facilities and distribution branches for $75 million. WooSox co-owner adds to Worcester holdings James Skeffington Jr., a co-owner of the Pawtucket Red Sox, has added four more small properties to his holdings just under a mile south of where the team is slated to begin play next spring at Worcester's $132-million Polar Park. Skeffington has bought four empty contiguous parcels off Quinsigamond Avenue adding up to an acre, to join a 1.5-acre site across the street he bought in December. Lutco names new president Worcester ball bearing manufacturer Lutco promoted Donald "Dug" Stowe to president of the company. Stowe replaces his father, John Stowe, who is now the company's chairman. Dug Stowe has worked for Lutco for 23 years. He began his work in 2000 as plant manager and most recently as vice president of operations.
