Currently president of MRC Consultants LLC Key lessons learned as a manager: • It's important to clearly communicate the vision and mis- sion of the company, the brand and its products/services, both internally and externally. • It's critical to clearly communicate why every single person in the organization is integral and has a vested interest in the overall success of the company. • Always "inspect what you expect," everyday. Advice to Maine's next generation of business leaders: Be true to your company's and your brand's mission and walk the talk of your core values and quality proposition throughout your entire organization as well as through your products/services. What's next: I created my consultancy business to assist other entrepreneurs to fast track their learning and skill sets for their best success in a highly competitive, rapid-growth and exciting food and beverage arena.
