The new hires include Dr. Antoine Ferneini, who will serve as section chief of vascular surgery; Brian Coyle, who will work as medical director of the limb salvage program; and Ralph DeNatale, who is now medical director of vascular quality. Chandra Dyamangoudar has joined tech company GalaxE.Solutions as vice president of the New Jersey- based company's Hartford operations, and will be responsible for strategy, development and operations of GalaxE. Solutions' Hartford Innovation Center. Dyamangoudar previously worked for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where he served as senior director and led their IT organization. Steve Angeletti and Elizabeth Hayden were hired at NBT Bank, a New York-based community bank that operates in six states, including Connecticut. Angeletti will serve as senior commercial banking manager and Hayden joins as a credit analyst. Angeletti most recently served as regional vice president of commercial lending at TD Bank in the southern Connecticut market. Hayden previously worked as senior commercial credit analyst at United Bank in Bristol. Mark Gold has joined the Connecticut Humane Society as medical director. Gold previously worked for the U.S. Navy Surgeon General as a senior veterinarian, and later worked with sheep on a farm, with laboratory animals, and at a private practice veterinary hospital. Stephen Moule has been named senior vice president at Bristol aerospace and industrial component maker Barnes Group Inc., and president of Barnes Industrial. Moule previously served as president, Americas at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a $1.1-billion operating unit within the Fortive Corp. Sam Hanna has been promoted to executive vice president, middle market banking at Waterbury-based Webster Bank, where he will continue to lead the bank's regional middle- market banking organization, as well as equipment finance and other areas. Hanna previously worked at Webster's commercial real estate section, managing the Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts markets. John Egazarian has been named chief operating officer for IQ Telecom, a telecommunications-management firm based in Wethersfield, and will be responsible for all aspects of daily operation, business development, and customer service. Before joining IQT, John served as COO and head of product at CÜR Media. Bret Schipper was appointed chief of surgical oncology at Hartford Hospital and director of oncologic surgery for the hospital's Cancer Institute. Schipper serves as assistant clinical professor in the departments of surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University School of Medicine. Song Nunnallee was promoted to vice president of implementations at Glastonbury digital payments vendor Payrailz, where she will now lead a team responsible for guiding Payrailz's bank and credit union clients as they implement the company's smart-payments technology. Nunnallee was most recently vice president of implementations at Payrailz. James Horwitz has been named to the board of directors of the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut (BIAC). Horwitz, managing attorney at Bridgeport law firm Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, has represented many clients with brain injuries, and is a long-time supporter of BIAC. Sean Genden has joined Hartford- based insurance company The Hartford as head of international insurance. Prior to joining The Hartford, Genden held a number of leadership roles at Travelers Insurance. M. Kate Van Valkenburg has joined the Connecticut team of NBT Bank, an independent, community bank based in Norwich, N.Y., as senior vice president and senior commercial banking relationship manager. Van Valkenberg previously served as commercial loan officer for ION Bank in Farmington. The Connecticut Science Center in Hartford has named seven new trustees to its board. New members include Jerry Fan, vice president, Burns & McDonnell; Rhona Free, president, University of St. Joseph; David Glidden, CEO and president, Liberty Bank; Geoff Hunt, senior vice president, engineering, Pratt & Whitney; Martin John, vice president corporate controller, HSB Group; Darcy O'Connor, director of corporate responsibility impact, Voya; and Cynthia Vodopivec, vice president of environmental, health and safety, Vistra Energy. Dr. Robert Krug was elected incoming chairman of the board of directors for the American Medical Rehabilitation Provider's Association (AMRPA). Krug is president of Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in Hartford. Dallas C. Dodge has been appointed as corporation counsel for the town of West Hartford, where he will provide legal services through his law firm, the Law Office of Dallas Dodge PLLC. Dodge is currently a partner at Roy & Leroy LLC, a government-relations consulting firm. Heather B. Bearfield has joined the advisory services group at West Hartford-based accounting and consulting firm blumshapiro as partner for cyber and IT risk services, responsible for managing risk and building information-security management programs for clients. Bearfield previously served as principal of cyber and IT risk services and national service line leader at Boston-based Marcum LLP. Leslie King has joined the Hartford office of Florida-based law firm Carlton Fields as a shareholder, and will handle construction litigation. King was previously a partner at Murtha Cullina, where she won high- profile cases on behalf of the city of Hartford in disputes involving its minor league baseball stadium. Richard "Rick" Mullins, Jr. was appointed vice president of business development at Plantsville sign manufacturer Sign Pro Inc., responsible for business development, commercial and express sales management, and marketing. Mullins previously worked as executive assistant to the president and director of Central Connecticut State University's Institute of Technology and Business Development. The MetroHartford Alliance, which promotes economic development in Greater Hartford, announced three new hires to its staff. Margot Early will serve as director of strategic events; Sneha Jayaraj will work as a research analyst; and Shannon Mumley joined the Hartford Chamber of Commerce as director of small business development and strategy. Lindsey McGrath was elected partner at blumshapiro, a West Hartford-based accounting and consulting firm, and will focus on partnerships/limited liability companies with a concentration on real estate. McGrath joined blumshapiro in 2015 through its merger with Schneider, Schneider & Associates.
