After college I went to DC for almost 10 years where I worked on a variety of construction projects at notable locations like the Pentagon, Andrews AFB, and the Naval Academy. It was great learning experience. I returned to Maine, before it was called 'boom-a-rang', and I've built some great friendships and business relationships throughout the Maine construction industry. It's a great group of people and an industry I'm proud to be a part of. As the Vice President of Maine Operations at Jewett Construction, I have the unique opportunity to run the best construction company in Maine. We are approaching projects for our clients with a greater subcontractor reach and providing lower construction costs for our customers! To be successful we have hired the most talented Project Managers and Superintendents. They all work so hard to ensure our clients are well informed and they make the construction process fun. People usually chuckle when I say "this is going to be fun," at a construction kick-off meeting but I mean it – the construction process can and should be fun. One of my goals is to keep our talented young adults in Maine. I think about this every day. I'm blessed that my family lives and works in a state that offers such a great quality of life and I want others to experience it. I'm growing Jewett Maine to allow others to have a great work life balance while making an impact on our communities. I look forward to talking with anyone that has a potential project coming up and wants to process to fun, professional, and transparent.
