This investment will help area preK to high school students engage in learning through behavioral health supports and counseling. Southern Maine Community College in South Portland said it is providing Cumberland County Adult Education office space on its campus for adult learners to receive free assistance with reading, writing and math skill de- velopment to prepare for college-level courses. Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution reported that it will donate $14,300 to school nutrition programs in York and Cumberland counties through its Community Debit Card Program. The funds raised will provide 5,000 meals for students in Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Scarborough, South Portland and Westbrook.
