Inspiring young people
to discover their future.
To a young person, there's nothing more motivating than a goal and the guidance to achieve it. For dozens of New Haven
high school students, goals have become rewarding careers with the support and guidance of Yale New Haven Hospital.
Our School-to-Career program gives students in area high schools a unique opportunity to get hands-on training from
Yale New Haven Hospital professionals, preparing them for their own careers in health care. The program, a combination
of volunteer and paid internships, is a first step to college and vocational training that has led to rewarding jobs
throughout the healthcare industry, including right here at Yale New Haven.
It makes us proud to know that we have played such a vital role in their success through School-to-Career. It's another
example of our commitment to caring beyond the bedside.
