The University of Hartford is planning to build a new $58-million, 62,000-square- foot academic building that will provide a state-of-the-art facility for two of the private college's most in-demand and growing majors: engineering and nursing. The project is part of a broader $90-million campus facelift plan. Goodwin College broke ground in October on a 25,000-square-foot, $8-million commercial building that will aim to help revitalize the East Hartford school's South Main Street campus area. Trinity College established multiple new partnerships with Hartford HealthCare in 2019, including the launch of a new digital-health accelerator program in downtown Hartford.
