She has eight years of experience as a rheumatologist and most recently worked as a physician at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Boston. She is also a faculty member at Boston University and Harvard Medical School. KAREN SAVAGE, the vice president and head of Milford operations for Rentschler Biopharma, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce. Savage has more than 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, and joined Rentschler Biopharma in early 2019 when the German company acquired the Milford site. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Stonehill College in Easton.
