Pfeiffer's and O'Grady's responsibilities include the technical leadership of projects focusing on environmental, health and safety compliance, audits, sustainability and environmental management systems. Robert E. Grady has joined Shipman & Goodwin LLP as a partner in the law firm's real estate practice group in Hartford. Grady previously served as founding partner of Rocky Hill-based real estate law firm Logan Grady LLC. In his new position, Grady will continue to represent clients in real estate, corporate and finance transactions, as well as related workout and enforcement actions. Connecticut Main Street Center, a Hartford nonprofit focused on revitalizing downtowns, added four members to its board of directors: Christine Grant, Amanda Kennedy, Kathy Nanowski and Katie Pelczar. Grant currently works as special assistant to the president for diversity and community engagement at the University of Hartford. Kennedy is director of special projects at the Southeastern Council of Governments. Nanowski is vice president and director of marketing and business development at Fuss & O'Neill. Pelczar works as acquisitions director for UBS Global Real Estate. The SLAM Collaborative, a Glastonbury-based architectural firm, has hired a new local architect. Marek Garlicki is now a project architect at SLAM Glastonbury where she will work on education projects. Geethika Fernando has been hired as data manager at the Connecticut Data Collaborative (CT Data), a public-private partnership that advocates for the public availability of open and accessible data. Fernando most recently worked as manager of data and accountability at the Coalition for New Britain's Youth, where she developed and managed the results- based accountability system. At CT Data, she will manage the data governance aspects of the shared data infrastructure. Amy D. Cillie has joined the Hartford office of law firm Alderman & Alderman LLC as an attorney. Cillie has been a member of the Connecticut bar since 2000. At Alderman & Alderman, she will focus on commercial litigation, arbitrations, mediations, creditors' rights and general litigation. Theresa A. Kozikowski has joined Waterbury-based Webster Bank as director of human resources. Kozikowski previously worked in human resources at Edelman Financial Services. At Webster, she will be responsible for human resources policies, risk and compliance and regulatory matters, and will serve as the HR liaison to the operational risk management committee.
