Stegbauer worked for Covenant Retirement Communities for three years as associate executive director in Michigan and Illinois. In his new position, Stegbauer will oversee all campus operations at Covenant Village, which is currently undergoing an expansion adding 54 new housing units. Laurie Martin has been promoted to chief investment officer in Connecticut Treasurer Shawn Wooden's office. Martin had been serving as interim chief investment officer. In her role, she will formally head the Treasury's Pension Funds Management Division, with responsibility for collaborating in the development and implementation of investment policy. Alyce Stiles has joined the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) in East Hartford as associate director of experiential STEM education. Stiles previously served as dean of workforce development and community education at Greenfield Community College. In her new position, she will oversee the delivery of the Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. activities, including the summer and in-school Young Manufacturers Academy programs across the state. Jeremy Rocha has joined the staff of East Hartford-based commercial real estate firm Goman+York Property Advisors LLC as a business analyst. Rocha is a recent UConn graduate where he earned a degree in real estate and urban economics. He previously worked as an analyst with Travelers Cos., the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, and Simsbury-based Vesta Corp. Campbell D. Barrett has been named president of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Campbell currently serves as the co-chair of the Hartford Bar Associations' Family Law Section. He frequently serves as a special master, a role that is appointed by a court to oversee one or more aspects of litigation, in Hartford, New Britain and Middletown. Elizabeth Grim was hired as director of community impact at the Connecticut Data Collaborative (CT Data), a public-private partnership that advocates for the public availability of open and accessible data. Grim brings with her expertise in providing training, consultation, and technical assistance to community-based organizations and state agencies, and will work with colleagues and organizations across the state. Brian Flemming is now chief operating officer at Solidus Inc., a Bloomfield-based design and construction firm to the New England banking industry. Flemming is the former CEO and owner of Big Street Construction Inc. (of Fairbanks, Alaska). He brings more than 20 years of experience in business ownership and management.
