Let's take the first few steps together… Medicare is a federal health insurance program. It is made up of Parts A, B, C, D. Parts A (hospital insurance) and B (medical insurance) are part of Original Medicare. Part A helps pay for things like hospital and home health care, while Part B helps pay for services like doctor office visits and preventive services such as screenings and flu shots.
