GOALS • Continue to bring world class premier global programming to our community • Grow our future global workforce by working in the schools to reach our future leaders • Bring the world to Connecticut FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES The Council has a variety of ways for businesses and community members to contribute to ensure global education and engagement opportunities continue to thrive in our community. Program Sponsorship: CTWAC holds between 20-30 programs each year, addressing critical global topics from cybersecurity to climate change. There are sponsorship opportunities for each program. Luminary Award: Each year, the Council holds its annual Luminary Award, which honors an individual or organization that has worked towards the overall betterment of the world. Individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available at the Luminary Award. Model United Nations: Invest in the next generation of global leaders by supporting the Model United Nations, which this year is on track to host over 1,000 students from over 30 schools across the state. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Individual Donations: The Council accepts general fund donations from businesses and individuals at any time. Endowment: A thriving endowment is crucial to achieving the long-term mission of the World Affairs Council of CT. We invite you to invest in the World Affairs Council endowment through a donation or legacy gift to ensure that critical global programming remains vibrant in our community for generations to come. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES If you are interested in global affairs and want to help us fulfill our mission, we have a job for you.
