Muscat was previ- ously director of advancement at the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor. Northern Light Cardiology in Bangor hired Krishna Alluri as a non-invasive cardiologist. Alluri is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. CEI, a Brunswick-based community lending and economic development nonprofit, hired Amy Winston as state policy director, Leah Thibault as mar- keting manager and Anna Ackerman as Women's Business Center program developer. Winston previously con- ducted ethnographic fieldwork in an eastern Kentucky mining town that was seeking to diversify its economic dependence on coal following mine clo- sures; ibault was director of executive administration and special projects for CEI Capital Management, a subsidiary of CEI focused on New Markets Tax Credit transactions; and Ackerman was assistant director at the Oak Institute for Human Rights at Colby College. Northern Light Neurosurgery and Spine in Bangor hired Michael Cohen to provide compre- hensive evaluation and management of complex brain tumors and spine surgery. Cohen is board certified in Neurological Surgery. Northern Light Plastic and Hand Surgery in Bangor hired John McGill. Previously in private practice, McGill is board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Maine Department of Health and Human Services hired Jessica Pollard as director of the Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. Pollard was an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine as well as clinical director of Early Psychosis Services. United Way of York County in Kennebunk hired Kevin Whittaker as finance and data director and Maggie Cummings as community impact project manager. Whittaker was managing director, global treasury at State Street Corp. in Boston while Cummings is a recent graduate of Syracuse University. University of Maine at Farmington hired Kenneth Lewis as director of Educational Outreach and Erin Connor as associate dean of the university's Division of Graduate and Continuing Education. Lewis was previously with omas College where he managed depart- mental operations for undergraduate admissions while Connor was director of graduate programs in education at the University of New England.
