Skill Up for Manufacturing was designed by
manufacturers, for manufacturers. Entry-level
candidates who want a career in manufacturing come
primed to join your company. You build upon their basic
knowledge on-the-job. Screening, recruitment and
hiring incentives available.
The Workforce You Need
The Skills You Want
Skill Up is a program of Workforce Alliance, funded by the Apprenticeship CT Initiative. Graduates
receive 5 weeks of training at either Gateway Community College , New Haven or Middlesex
Community College at Vinal Tech, Middletown. Completers earn 250 Pre-Apprenticeship hours from
the CT Department of Labor and Six Sigma certification. Candidates are CT res
idents at least 18
years old with a High School Diploma or GED and are eligible to work in the U.S. See course
