Thank you for helping us
make MIRACLES happen!
The 30th Anniversary of MIRACLES was an incredible success. The sell-out crowd, lead sponsors – Arrow
Pharmacy and United Technologies and a $1 million matching gift from the Maximilian E. and Marion O.
Hoffman Foundation helped us raise more than $2 million to benefit the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute
at Saint Francis, the first comprehensive cardiovascular institute in southern New England. The Institute is
unsurpassed at providing team-based, patient-centered care across the continuum of care for patients in our
community.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to two legendary Saint Francis physicians for their pioneering
work, dedication and commitment to the cardiology patients in our community – Dr. Surendra K. Chawla,
emeritus, Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Dr. Robert K. Jeresaty, emeritus, Cardiologist.
The Corporate Citizen Award was presented to United Technologies for more than 30 years of supporting
Saint Francis Hospital and their commitment to making our community a better place to live.
We are truly grateful to everyone involved with our gala – the Auxiliary of Saint Francis, over 100 volunteers
including numerous volunteers from Eversource Energy, our wine and spirits donors, wine dinner hosts, and
special drawing donors. They are the reason MIRACLES is the biggest and best social event of Connecticut's
calendar.
Thank you to our generous sponsors and corporate partners.
