It was one of six Maine companies cited. Baker Newman Noyes, an accounting and consulting firm in Portland, said it was named among the nation's Top 100 accounting firms in the U.S. by INSIDE Public Accounting. e firm is ranked at No. 93. University of Maine at Farmington announced it was nationally recognized as a "Best College" by U.S. News & World Report, ranking in the Top 10 in four categories in its Carnegie classifica- tion of Regional Colleges in the North. e university was listed No. 2 in "Best Colleges for Veterans," No. 3 in "Best Value," No. 5 in "Top Public Colleges" and No. 8 in "Top Regional Colleges in the North – Public and Private." Maine Council on Aging in Brunswick announced its 2019 award winners including Mollie Baldwin, former presi- dent and CEO of Home Care for Maine, and Larry Gross, former president and CEO of Southern Maine Agency on Aging, who captured the "Lasting Legacy Award."
