The company is internationally known for our technological advancements in the geophysical, archeological, forensics, infrastructure, public works and transportation industries. We serve our clients with technical expertise, unsurpassed customer support and training facilities, and superior products. www.geophysical.com Address: 40 Simon Street, Nashua, NH 03060 Phone: 603.893.1109 Full-time employees: 87 Year founded: 1970 Top Local Executive/Owner/CEO: Chris Hawekotte C O M PA N Y P R O F I L E For almost 50 years, we have been innovating new ways to see inside things with GPR: from asphalt and concrete looking for pipes and rebars to tombs and temples looking for old stuff. GPR has found some of the largest gems (emeralds in North Carolina) and helped to investigate ancient civilizations and structures (Mayan pyramids). We create sensors that make bridges safer as well as sensors for Search and Rescue that detect faint breathing under collapsed buildings. GSSI products are distributed through a series of application specialists and representatives worldwide to five primary markets – concrete inspection, utility mapping and locating, road and bridge deck evaluation, geophysics and archaeology. We also serve many specialty markets including tree assessment, golf course management, environmental assessment and ice and snow investigation. We regularly have openings in our Operations, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Administration departments. We have an ongoing engineering internship program. The interns work on product development, assisting in new prototype assembly and design verification. We offer different types of benefits, events, and perks for employees to enjoy. Some of our unique offerings include $12,000 annual tuition reimbursement, onsite rec/fitness room, scholarship program, Lunch with the President Program, and regularly scheduled team outings. GSSI participates in local 5K charity races and holds regular food, clothing, and gift collections for shelters within our community. We also enjoy delivering GPR and career preparation presentations at local schools and clubs. Over the last five years we've transitioned many of our daily practices to be paperless. We also focus on recycling, waste reduction, energy efficient lighting, and regularly reminding our staff to be mindful of our energy usage.
