We work collaboratively to build full systems and sub-assemblies for innovative high tech companies here in New England. We are both a woman-owned small business, and an ESOP company. Community service and environmental stewardship are not just buzzwords to us. Our paid volunteer hours encourage us to actively express and embody our values. We support local philanthropic organizations through food drives to charity runs, and we care for the environment through activities such as cleaning up highway roadsides. www.cirtronics.com Address: 528 Rte. 13 S. Milford, NH 03055 Phone: 603.249.9190 | Full-time employees: 220 | Year founded: 1979 Top Local Executive/Owner/CEO: Dave Patterson C O M PA N Y P R O F I L E We build a lot of really cool stuff. Maybe you've heard of Ava robots (avarobotics.com)? We're proud to say we build those. We also manufacture life-saving quality-critical equipment like sophisticated medical devices, military robots, and the explosive detecting systems used in airport security. Our customers are innovative high tech companies that design cutting edge technology. Our niche is serving B2B companies requiring high quality, mid volume builds. We work closely with each of our customers and build mutual trust and collaboration-- these relationships allow us to bring their ideas to life. We don't just hire engineers. It takes all kinds of people, skills and personalities to make a company like ours work. We look for team members who are willing to step up and fit into our unique culture that includes both teamwork and empowerment. We look for folks who are creative, others who are organized, others who can see the big picture and some who love details. Introverts and extroverts are all welcome here. We encourage and provide support and training to folks who want to grow and move into areas they become interested in. We work together— with positivity and integrity — using the aggregate of our wide range of skills, backgrounds and perspectives to create the high-quality products our customers need. We keep up-to-date on all possible technologies, from IT to manufacturing equipment, that can help us do our jobs better. We focus on our high-quality output, our personal relationships with our customers, or our ability to communicate as a team. Automation is great, but in many cases, collaborative teams still outweigh automation when it comes to fast-moving, fast-changing environments like ours. We don't have an "official" internship program but you would not know that looking at our numbers! We hire many interns every year, and some have returned for more than one year, and many locals return during vacations! As a person interested in engineering, being around people in the manufacturing industry has really helped me have a better understanding of what I could look forward to in the future. One of the other cool things about Cirtronics is how small it is. We really get a chance to know each other, including the people in charge. You really feel like it's not necessarily a work environment but more of a community of people who are all working toward the same goal." "I am currently going to UMass Lowell where I am studying engineering. The best part about working at Cirtronics is that I get to interact with engineers on a daily basis and see what type of work I will be doing in the near future." What is the coolest thing about your job/company? What is the coolest thing about your job/company? David (DJ) Godlewski AGE: 18 SCHOOL: SNHU Jessica Brewer AGE: 21 SCHOOL: UMass Lowell
