Head to the New England Air Museum in
Windsor Locks to check out a very cool
collection of fighter jets, including an F-100
dating back to the 1950s and is an early
example of a supersonic fighter jet, and a
Russian-built MiG fighter jet from the same
era, said Ron Katz, the museum's director
of advancement and external relations. The
MiG fighter jet line has been the mainstay of
Russia's fighter jet technology for decades,
Katz said, and is very comparable to our
fighter jets.
