We partner with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students grad- uate high school, attain post-secondary credentials, and pursue meaningful careers. f JMG will increase its reach to serve 10,000 students annually, ensuring stu- dents of promise reach their fullest potential. JMG's model keeps students connected to education and provides deep, competency-based skill building that is cost effective today, and will pay enormous dividends tomorrow as we prepare Maine's future workforce. f e expansion of JMG's model through its College Success Program and Post- Secondary Navigators will move the needle for degree and credential attainment in Maine. In the next five years JMG will serve 50,000 students, and our goal is 60% of our high school graduates will persist through post-secondary education and training to earn a degree and/or earn an industry-recognized certification, license, or other credential valued by employers. f rough strategic partnerships with Maine's Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Labor, JMG will intentionally integrate student-centered support services to enroll and serve economically disadvantaged students, youth in foster care, and students with disabilities to achieve increased high school graduation rates, enrollment in higher education, and connections to career pathways. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Individuals and businesses can support JMG in a variety of ways: through vol- unteering, by hosting students at their organization, and by making a contribu- tion that will impact students across the state. f JMG conducts an annual appeal. We receive 100% participation from our Board of Directors and staff; a testament of how deeply those connected with the organization believe in the mission. e next appeal will be sent in October. Comprehensive information of career opportunities by occupational groupings, by county, and by company, are provided to help guide students through building career pathway knowledge. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES e ongoing support of the Maine business community is essential to JMG's success. Each JMG program needs business volunteers to speak about career paths, job opportunities, post-secondary education, and more.
