We invite you to join a growing network of Maine businesses who make ending child hunger a part of their social responsibility strategy. In doing so, you'll raise awareness about the youth hunger crisis in Maine and the solutions that connect children statewide with the meals they need to thrive. You'll help Maine schools and nonprofits receive the technical and financial assistance they need to reach more hungry kids. Full Plates works with our partners to report on our progress and share what we have learned with other schools so that no child is ever hungry. Maine's next generation of employees, business leaders, and innovators are counting on us to help them reach their full potential. What to learn more about becoming a FEED KIDS partner? Contact FEED KIDS Director Rebecca Dill at feedkids@fullplates.org Maine's success is inextricably tied to the potential of our children. Yet nearly half of Maine kids struggle with food insecurity— 82,000 hungry children who don't always know where their next nutritious meal will come from. Ending child hunger in Maine is possible. The USDA has fully funded child nutrition programs in place to provide every kid who needs one with a nutritious meal through free and reduced-price school lunches, school breakfasts, afterschool, and summer meals programs. But there's still much work to be done to ensure that all Maine children have access to these meals. Full Plates Full Potential makes it easy for Maine businesses to effect change for our state's hungry kids. We built our FEED KIDS initiative as a turnkey cause marketing program designed for businesses of all sizes, sectors, and locations to take action toward ending childhood hunger, right here at home. Every meal matters to a hungry child. Learn more about Full Plates Full Potential at fullplates.org. Special thanks to Headlight Audio Visual for donating this ad space. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS Designate an item, product, or service you sell as your FEED KIDS item. Determine the amount you'll donate from each sale of that FEED KIDS item. At the end of each month, total the FEED KIDS items you sold and donate that amount to your unique campaign.
