Most of my volunteer activities have involved youth and adolescents. Little did I realize at the time that my son would later attend YOU Inc.'s alternative education program from grades 7-12. Once he graduated, I stepped onto the board again and I am now in my third rotation as a board member. Over the last three decades, I have chaired committees and held various officer positions, including Treasurer and now Chairman of the BOD. YOU Inc. has become a part of my extended family. – Roy Angel, Board Chair Scheduled for Saturday, March 14th 2020, the Gala for Kids is our premiere fundraising event. Each year, the Gala draws as many as 300 guests, including many of Worcester's business and community leaders. The event offers outstanding sponsor visibility before and during the event, and includes silent and live auctions, cocktail hour, dinner, and keynote speakers. Our agency hosts a number of smaller fundraisers throughout the year, and welcomes donations of auction items, and volunteers to serve on our event committees. To discuss sponsorship or donor opportunities, please contact Kristin Mayotte, Vice President of Advancement, Education, and Community Engagement at 508-552-7551 or mayottek@youinc.org. Volunteer opportunities include half-day site spruce-ups (landscaping, light painting, etc.) at our youth sites, mentoring or tutoring students in our college success programs or supporting our clinical programs on an ongoing basis, and serving on committees including Fundraising and Special Events. Individual donations, foundation grants and corporate sponsorships are vital to the success of our programs. Any questions about the giving opportunities below may be directed to Kristin Mayotte, Vice President of Advancement, Education, and Community Engagement at 508-552-7551 or mayottek@youinc.org. Corporate Partners: Throughout the year, our Corporate Partners who sponsor events or individual programs enjoy significant visibility, including signage at special events, website exposure, and social media exposure, as well as opportunities for their employees to volunteer and participate. Annual Appeal: We send winter and spring annual appeals by mail and email. In-Kind Donations: We welcome in-kind donations of goods and services for most events, as well as supplies for programs.
