e people we serve can't do
what you're doing right now.
ey're blind. ey can't read the Worcester Business Journal…or anything else, for that
matter. (Did you know that Braille literacy among people who are blind is only about 10%?)
Audio Journal puts them in touch with the world.
To help keep them aware and mentally active:
• We broadcast news, information, interviews and entertainment, 24/7.
• We provide access through our website, www.audiojournal.org.
• We are also heard on special radios, smart speakers, cable access TV & telephone.
And we do it all for FREE. For anyone interested in keeping up with pertinent, local and
timely news.
Get involved.
We run a tight ship, but we do need help covering our operating expenses. You can support
our valuable mission:
• As a Corporate Partner. Your company can help sponsor our daily activities and/or
special events. It's a good thing to do and good business.
• As a donor. Most of our funds come from fundraising and grants, which can be
inconsistent at best. e same funders can't always be depended on year aer year.
• As a volunteer. Yes, you can join our incredible team of more than 150 dedicated,
on-air broadcasters. We'll train you. We promise a challenging and rewarding
experience, with flexibility to fit your schedule.
And if you know someone who could benefit from our services, please put us in touch with
them. Many people aren't aware of the important work we do.
