ew Haven's shiny, still-new hospitality haven, down-
town's Blake Hotel, has been open for half a year now.
Earlier this summer the 108-room boutique hotel
opened its way-cool rooop bar and boite, called
High George (named aer the two downtown byways
its building bisects). en, in early August the Blake
"re-launched" Hamilton Park, the chic, street-level bistro
whose kitchen is helmed by recent CT Restaurant Associa-
tion chef of the Year Tyler Anderson, who made his bones
with Simbury's Millwright's in 2012 and more recently with
Porròn and Piña, a Spanish-inspired restaurant and wine bar
in Hartford's historic Goodwin Hotel.
