He leads a team of subroga- tion major case professionals and is part of the subrogation major case leadership team. Previously he was counsel in Trav- elers' claim legal general liability group, providing coverage advice to the subro- gation and general liability organization, and staff counsel at Travelers, litigating a number of defense, subrogation and reinsurance matters. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? My biggest accomplishments have been those situations where I've helped to build and lead teams that reached significant goals. That includes expanding volunteer efforts with the claim legal engagement team, and leading initiatives related to sub- rogation's relationships with inside and outside counsel. Teamwork leads to greater success. How are you involved in the community? I coach for Suffield Little League and am involved in Youth Journal- ism International, an organization that trains young journalists around the world. I have served as an alumni mentor at UConn Law School, and have also volunteered for Junior Achievement's "JA in a Day" program. What do you like to do outside of work? I most enjoy spending time with my wife and my two daughters, ages six and three. I am an avid sports fan, runner, and (very novice) golfer. I love good food, whether at a trusted local spot or food truck, or finding great eateries when traveling.
