Dr. MARK DICHTER has been named medical director for utilization manage- ment and clinical informatics for Fallon Health in Worcester to provide clinical leadership and support to utilization management, medical policy and other medical management functions. Dichter was most recently med- ical director for health information systems for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachu- setts in Boston. He has a bachelor's degree from Boston University, a medical degree from SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in New York, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in medical informatics at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. Dr. SAMUEL NORDBERG has joined Reli- ant Medical Group in Worcester as chief of its department of behavioral health, where he focuses on implementing an embedded primary care and behavioral health model DICHTER and developing focused specialty behavioral health ser- vices. Nordberg joins Relianit from Atrius Health, where he was medical director for informatics. He earned his doctorate from Penn State University, completed his internship at Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research at the Bos- ton VA Medical Center. CRISTOFF SHAY is the new vice presi- dent of experience at the EcoTarium in Worcester. He was the executive vice president of Battleship Cove in Fall River, where he managed visitor services, donor relations and retail. Shay's appointment to the newly created position is part of the EcoTarium's reorganization into advancement, experi- ence and shared services departments. For the Railers, McGuire will host a weekly radio show and provide content on the team's social media channels. JACK BAILEY is the new senior vice president for clinical services at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He was most recently the executive director of internal medicine for Atrius Health in Boston, where he pro- vided overall strategy and operations man- agement for the organization's largest line of business. Bailey oversaw the department of medicine at Baystate Health in Spring- field and spent nine years with Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. NICHOLAS JONES, a Fitchburg State Uni- versity senior majoring in communications media and graphic design, is interning this summer at the North Central Massa- chusetts Chamber of Commerce. Jones, who served in aviation ordnance in the Navy, is assisting with cre- ating interactive media campaigns.
