[ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] Stroudwater Associates, a national health care consulting firm in Portland, said Jeffrey Sommer, the firm's managing direc- tor, accepted the "Patriot Award" from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a U.S. Department of Defense program. e award was in recognition of the firm's support of Lan Mai Nguyen, a company consultant based in Atlanta who recently received her commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Katahdin Trust in Houlton honored Joe Clukey, vice president, retail services offi- cer in Presque Isle, with its "Top of the Mountain Commitment to Community Award" for volunteering more than 100 hours to local organizations. The Edgecomb Fire Department received the Maine Department of Labor's "Safety and Health Award for Public Employers" for maintaining an exemplary safety and health management system.
