Dole Packaged Foods recently
partnered with ShopRite and the
Captain Planet Foundation to install
a Project Learning Garden at Robert
J. O'Brien Elementary School in
East Hartford. The Project Learning
Garden program provides a context
for multidisciplinary learning, ranging
from nutrition and science to social
studies, math and language arts.
Johnson Brunetti 5K raises
money for Camp Courant
The second annual Johnson Brunetti
5K raised nearly $35,000 to support
Camp Courant, the Hartford-
based free summer camp. The
event was held at Camp Courant's
campgrounds in Farmington and
attracted runners in their best "Be
a Hero 5K" themed outfits. Pictured

TSI Harley Davidson donates bicycles to
kindergarten students
TSI Harley Davidson of Ellington recently delivered a
complete Learn-To-Ride Program, including 22 Strider
Learn-To-Ride bicycles, helmets and curriculum to
kindergarten students at North Street School in Windsor
Locks. The elementary school is the first in Connecticut to
be selected by the national Strider Education Foundation's
Adopt-a-School program. Pictured (from left) are: Heather
