Neuright and Sticky Sweet were named the winners of the 2019 Top Gun Program's Showcase. Each received $25,000 sponsored by the Maine Technology Institute and the David E. Shaw Family Foundation. Jennifer Nuttall, a nurse in charge at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, earned the Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse credential from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board. Kenji Saito was elevated to fellowship in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Saito practices occupational and environmen- tal medicine at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta and Waterville. He is the medical director of Workplace Health, the center's occupational medicine practice and is also regulatory liaison and chair of Medical Specialties for MaineGeneral Health. The Greater Portland Council of Governments recognized Ecomaine with its "President's Award" for its efforts to improve solid waste management through regionalization, environmen- tal and economic sustainability, and public outreach. Maine Homes by Down East magazine won the "2019 Home/Shelter" award at the 34th annual National City & Regional Magazine Awards competition. Maine Ad and Design presented its annual Broderson Awards with VIA Agency cap- turing four awards for L.L.Bean includ- ing "e Pitch," Gold: TV Campaign or Spot; "Be an Outsider," Gold: Best Digital Video and Silver: Integrated Marketing Campaign; and "Sunlight Ink," Silver: Print Full Page Ad.
