Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters
recognizes Gov. Lamont
Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters recently presented a
Children's Champion Award to Gov. Ned Lamont for his
ongoing support of children in need. The award was
presented at the mentoring organization's recent Big
Brothers Big Sisters of the Year Awards event. Pictured

Simsbury Bank sponsors 'Bike for
the Battle,' Granby Road Race
Simsbury Bank made $2,500 in total donations to the
Farmington Valley YMCA for two fundraising events
this spring. The bank was the champion sponsor of the
Farmington Valley YMCA's "Bike for the Battle" that was
held March 23 at the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby
and was a major sponsor of the Granby Road Race

Fennwoode Apartments honors Newington Volunteer Fire Department
Fennwoode Apartments in Newington recently attended a fundraising event honoring the work
and dedication of the Newington Volunteer Fire Department, Company 3. During the event,
Fennwoode Apartments' management team presented a $1,000 donation to Company 3.
