Plans for 11.8 acres at 1315 Minot Ave. in Auburn include development of a strip mall that would include a recreational- use cannabis dispensary and testing lab, and perhaps a coffee shop and additional retail space. Clifford Miller purchased the parcel from KJD Maine Co. LLC for $90,000. Miller, a Lisbon native and real estate investor founded Atlantic Cannabis Collective in 2017, after Maine voters approved the sale of recreational cannabis. e plan for 1315 Minot Ave. is connected to a cannabis-growing operation Miller has in development across the street on a 10-acre lease on a side street called Mystique Way. Miller is building two greenhouses of 4,000 and 12,000 square feet, as well as an extraction facility. It's expected both greenhouses will be operational by mid-June. He holds a two-year lease with an option to buy, and plans to execute the purchase option in 2021.
