Precourt joins UMass from Float- ing Hospital for Children at Tus Medical Center in Boston, where he was the associate chief nursing officer and interim chief nursing officer. He has held various nursing leadership and staff nursing roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. $10M apartment project starts after years of delays A 72-unit, $10-million apartment project at the corner of Wall and Norfolk streets in Worcester is finally underway aer years of delays. Developer Robert Branca purchased the site, the former home of the El Morocco restaurant, in 2015 for $850,000 aer a project from a previous developer was approved. e previous developer was deterred by site challenges like a deteriorating retaining wall and a huge ledge. Wachusett Brewing starts 4,000-sq.-ft. expansion Wachusett Brewing Co. has begun construction on a 4,000-square-foot Westminster expansion to replace its events tent and add a new kitchen. e space, expected to be open this summer, will allow the brewery to increase its guest capacity by about 400 people and improve its food menu via a new pizza oven. A second bar will be built in the new building to accommo- date the increased guest capacity. Antiquarian Society to unveil $18M renovation e American Antiquarian Society is putting the finishing touches on a two- year, $18-million Worcester expansion. e research library, located at Park Avenue and Salisbury Street in Worces- ter, added a 7,000-square-foot, three-sto- ry wing including a multistory window framed in a green copper facade. A grand reopening is scheduled for May 4. Worcester to lease former Saint Vincent facility Worcester city officials are looking for a long-term tenant to sign a lease for the vacant Saint Vincent Hospital building next to the Worcester Senior Center. e site was last assessed at $9.2 million.
