Occupational Medical Consulting designs and delivers health and wellness pro- grams nationwide and will oper- ate as OMC Wellness, a subsidiary of Wellness Workdays. Founded in 1996, OMC is known for its well- ness program administration, health coaching and proprietary wellness software, according to Wellness Workdays. Its unique and effec- tive approach to behavior change has resulted in established wellness program participation rates well above the national norms. Leeds is a half hour's drive north of Lewiston, also in Androscoggin County. Northern Light subsidiary opens Waterville site Work Health LLC, an occupational health program that partners with employers and communities to help employees stay healthy, opened a Waterville location. It's the sixth Maine site for Work Health, which is part of Northern Light Health. Sharon D'Amboise, associate vice president of Work Health, was joined by leaders from Northern Light Health, Northern Light Inland Hospital and the Mid- Maine Chamber of Commerce at a ceremony officially opening the location, which is at 10 Washington St. Work Health provides assess- ment and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses, physical exams, on-site ergonomic evalua- tions, independent medical evalua- tions, and a variety of employment related testing services.
